Refund Policy

Last updated: 4 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-04

We want you to feel confident subscribing to Nyenzo. This policy explains how billing, cancellation and refunds work.

Who we are

Nyenzo is operated by iDev Consulting (www.idev.co.tz), registered in Tanzania (BRELA No. 464629). Our platform is at nyenzo.com.

Try Nyenzo free for 7 days

Every new subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. We charge nothing on day one. You get full access for the whole week — daily lessons, exams, the parent dashboard, everything.

Cancel before day 8 and you will never be charged. Every parent gets a full week to try Nyenzo before paying, so please make your decision during the trial.

Monthly subscriptions

We bill monthly. Your first charge comes at the end of the 7-day trial, then on the same date each month.

Once a billing period has begun, that period is non-refundable. We deliver lessons, exams and marking immediately and continuously throughout the period.

Cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then, and we do not charge you again.

We offer no annual plans, so you will never be locked into a long commitment.

Your statutory right to cancel

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you may withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of taking it out, without giving a reason. This applies whatever the rest of this policy says.

Nyenzo starts immediately, and you ask us to begin at once when you sign up. If you withdraw within those 14 days, we refund what you have paid less a proportionate amount for the period you had access. If you withdraw during the free trial, nothing is owed either way, because we charged nothing.

To withdraw, email central@nyenzo.com with "Withdrawal" in the subject line, or cancel from your account. We acknowledge your request and refund within 14 days of receiving it.

Your other statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the consumer law of your country. If your local law grants you a right to a refund that this policy does not, that right applies.

When we will refund beyond those rights

We refund you where:

  • We charged you twice for the same subscription
  • We charged you after you cancelled
  • A fault on our side prevented you from using Nyenzo for a substantial part of a billing period
  • We close your account for a reason that is not your fault, in which case we refund the unused portion

When we will not

We do not refund where:

  • We have suspended or terminated an account for breaching our Terms of Service
  • The subscription has been used for the billing period in question and no statutory right applies

Who processes your payment

Our payment provider, currently LemonSqueezy, acts as merchant of record for Nyenzo. LemonSqueezy is the seller of record for your purchase: it processes the payment, handles applicable taxes, and appears on your bank or card statement rather than Nyenzo.

Your purchase is therefore governed by LemonSqueezy's terms of sale alongside ours. As merchant of record, LemonSqueezy may handle refund requests directly under its own terms, and may contact you about failed payments and renewals.

We may change payment provider, and we will update this section when we do.

Billing problems

If you believe we have charged you in error — a duplicate charge, a charge after cancelling, or a charge you do not recognise — email central@nyenzo.com with the subject line "Billing Problem" and include:

  • The email address on your Nyenzo account
  • The date and amount of the charge
  • What you believe went wrong

We respond within 2 business days. Where a refund is due, it reaches you within 5–10 business days depending on your payment provider.

Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. We can almost always resolve it faster, and a chargeback may suspend your account while it is investigated.
